From 4th – 6th July, Oxygen’s team will be attending the annual Local Government Association Conference for the 5th year running and will be holding our ever-popular annual LGA conference reception on the evening of the 4th July at Birmingham’s Marco Pierre White Restaurant Bar.

This year’s conference will be held at the ICC in Birmingham, just a short walk from Oxygen HQ. We’re delighted that our presence on Stand A34 will be strengthened further by Oxygen subject matter experts. They will be on hand to offer insight into critical subjects like creating social value & generating local economic growth, improving supplier relations, the digitisation agenda, supporting local firms, increasing council efficiency and generating much-needed savings.

We will be playing our part by launching our new £reepay product, enabling councils to pay local, small and micro suppliers early without charge, supporting growth, creating social value and speeding up payments where cash is most needed.

In addition to the conference stand and product launch, we are holding a drinks reception on the evening of the 4th July at the Marco Pierre White Restaurant Bar, only a 5-minute walk from the ICC venue. The bar offers 360 panoramic views of the city from the top floor of the Cube building in the Mailbox district. We will be serving drinks and food to guests from 6pm onwards and will be welcoming all LGA delegates to come and unwind after a busy day at the conference.

Please email Katrina.mowbray@oxygen-finance.com for your complimentary invitation.

Lastly, we’re looking forward to the annual CIPFA Conference at Manchester Central on 12th & 13th July, which as always promises to be another insightful and stimulating event. With attendees at this event coming from a variety of financial, technical, procurement and accounting backgrounds across the public sector, we’ll again have a specialist team on hand talking to delegates about the financial benefits, cost savings, efficiency gains and functionally-rich technology that Oxygen can offer.
