Oxygen’s Absar Syed Wins Computing Award from BCU

Oxygen Finance, the leading provider of Early Payment programmes in the UK, is thrilled to announce that Absar Syed, a Senior Data Analyst at the company, has been awarded the Computing Alumnus prize at Birmingham City University’s Innovation Fest 2023. This accolade underscores Absar’s outstanding achievements and serves as a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation.

Birmingham City University’s Innovation Fest honours exceptional alumni who have made significant contributions to their respective fields. The Computing Alumnus prize commends former students from the university’s renowned School of Computing and Digital Technology who demonstrate a drive to push the boundaries of innovation.

Speaking about the award, Absar said, “I am humbled to have been honoured with this prestigious award. It is an incredible privilege to receive this recognition, and I would like to extend my deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to my colleagues, mentors, lecturers, and family who have shaped my journey and instilled in me a passion for lifelong learning.”

Oxygen Finance had previously recognized Absar’s exceptional contributions to the organization by awarding him the distinguished Rising Star award at the end of 2022, reflecting the company’s commitment to nurturing and acknowledging exceptional talent within its ranks.
