Boosting cash flow: Beebot AI receives payments in 3 days

Early payment provides additional liquidity, accelerating growth plans for Local Government AI solution provider.

Beebot AI provides intelligent automation and AI services to deliver and enhance digital solutions that enable public organisations to become more efficient, save valuable resources, and better interact with their community and stakeholders. Many citizens now engage online first and want to self-source information and services quickly; offering access digitally benefits users and helps public bodies meet increasing demand.

Proven success and a commitment to fully embedding solutions to increase adoption and return on investment has led to Beebot AI securing work with a range of public organisations, fuelling its expansion in this fast-growing sector.

Early payment boosts cash flow

Beebot AI was first introduced to the Early Payment Programme when tendering for work with Coventry City Council. Coventry City Council offer early payment to suppliers through its Premier Supplier Service which enables invoices to be paid ahead of the standard term in exchange for a pre-agreed rebate. Information about the scheme was included within the tender, along with a breakdown of costs, and a target to pay invoices in 10 days.

Beebot AI selected to join the scheme as they recognised the opportunity to boost their cash flow.  Given the success of the Early Payment programme at Coventry, Beebot AI has since joined early payment programmes for some of its other local authority clients. The company is now enrolled on programmes with Knowsley Council, Gloucestershire County Council and Sefton Council.

“Cash flow is fundamental to any business. With the Early Payment Programmes we know that we’ll get paid quickly – our invoices are typically paid within 3 days.

“As an investor-led business, early payment provides additional liquidity enabling us to accelerate our growth plan and demonstrate our operational success to our investors without the need for further investment; that’s a great position for us to be in.

“There is a rebate fee for the early payment which helps raise additional funds for the councils we work with, but the business readily agreed to that, because cash flow is so important to us as a growing organisation. We’re incredibly proud of our work with our public sector clients and the solutions our team deliver, so we’re happy to collaborate more closely with our clients and do what we can to support the regions we work in.”
