Joining the Priority Account Service at Stockport Council

As a supplier to Stockport Council, Freerun were invited to join the Council’s Priority Account Service, which is designed to accelerate invoice payments and boost cash flow to suppliers in exchange for a small rebate. After considering the benefits for the business and for the local community, Freerun decided to join.

Freerun Private Services continue to invoice Stockport Council direct and the invoices are paid as soon as they are approved.

What the Supplier says

“We have been very happy with the Priority Account Service and the process runs smoothly. When we received the initial information, it was easy and quick to sign up. We continue to send our invoices through to the council, but now we benefit from earlier payment.  In our experience, invoices are typically paid within 7 days, much faster than the standard terms, which is very positive for our business.

“We look forward to continued membership of the Service, along with supporting Stockport Council and other local authorities as their specialist transport provider.”
